Jerry is a native to the San Francisco Bay Area and was born and raised in Berkeley, CA. Prior to his arrival at TPC from 2003 to 2008, Jerry was the General Manager of the Alpine Hills Tennis & Swimming Club in Portola Valley, CA. From 1982 to 2003, he was the General Manager of the California Tennis Club in San Francisco. Jerry has an extensive career as a volunteer serving two terms as President of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Junior Tennis League; two terms on the Board of Directors of the USTA Northern California; serving on three USTA National Committees; and four years on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco General Hospital Foundation. Professionally, he has been a long time member of Club Manager’s Association of America.
Jerry is a graduate of San Francisco State University. He was a member of the varsity basketball team that placed fourth at the NCAA Division II Western Regionals. Jerry played a variety of USTA local and national tennis tournaments and earning rankings on both levels. When he finds the time, he is an avid golfer. His favorite pastime is spending time with his wife Mary and son Andre-Padraig.
Malcolm Lacey

Malcolm is a San Francisco native, born and raised. A graduate from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Consumer Studies with a focus in Interior Design. Prior to becoming part of the TPC family Malcolm was the Director of Membership for The San Francisco Bay Club and the Western Athletics Club’s Executive Club Membership with over 5000 members. Malcolm’s attention to detail, multi-tasking and direct approach is an asset to the administrative management team of TPC. He makes sure TPC maintains the latest technology in billing, scheduling and point of sale systems. Malcolm manages several areas of the Tiburon Peninsula Club including but not limited to the web site, member services, housekeeping, house and grounds, facility maintenance and marketing.
Catherine Sanders
Controller

Catherine is a native of Southern California but has spent most of her adult life living and working in Northern California. Catherine brings her expertise and professionalism in finance to the Tiburon Peninsula Club as Controller, which derives from her tenure at numerous high volume restaurants and hospitality groups. The breadth of her expertise comes from her experience as Controller of the reputable Bistro Don Giovanni’s (BDG) in Napa. In addition to BDG, she also worked as the Controller at the Moana Hotel & Restaurant Group. At Moana she was responsible for overseeing the Property Accounts, which included the Piatti Restaurants as well as the Michelin starred Redd Restaurant in Yountville.
Before her tenure at Moana, she worked as the Controller of the highly successful SFA Design in Santa Barbara, which handled the accounts of many luxury hotels and resorts including the world famous Waldorf-Astoria and Trump Towers in New York City. We welcome Catherine to the TPC as the controller and look forward to benefiting from her financial expertise and experience.

Born in Iowa, Austin began working in a Chinese restaurant at the of age of 13. Austin has experience in all forms of cooking. He most recently left the Bay Club in the Financial District as Food and Beverage Director in order to help build a wonderful new café at the Tiburon Peninsula Club.
Mike McDonald

‘Mean’ Coach Mike began competitively swimming at age nine for the Reno Aquatic Club, a USS club renowned for its distance and IM training. Mike has been working at the TPC since 1999 as a lesson instructor, account coordinator and swim coach and is excited to take on the challenge as Aquatics Director.
Scott Potthast

Born in Santa Clara and raised in British Columbia, Canada, Scott began playing the game about the time he could walk. His father was touring professional during the late 60’s and early 70’s, playing in such tournaments as the US Open and Wimbledon, and his mother was a Canadian National Champion. Scott’s junior tennis career was played mainly in Canada and became a National Doubles Champion in 1987 and was ranked 8th nationally in singles. After junior tennis, Scott played his college tennis at Long Beach State University where he played both singles and doubles. Scott has now been in the tennis teaching industry for 18 years. He has come back to the TPC after being the Head Tennis Professional from 2001-2006. Prior to coming back to the TPC, Scott served two years as the Director of Tennis at the Natomas Racquet Club in Sacramento, California.

Juliana and her passion for children’s growth and safety is bolstered by her knowledge of how to engage young minds. Juliana realized at a young age that children are what makes our future. Once you meet the TPC’s “super nanny”, you will know that your children will feel comfort and love with Juliana and her staff. Juliana has a sense of people, both male and female, who want the best for children. Juliana graduated from SFSU with a BA in Recreation with an emphasis in Community/Non-Profit. Juliana’s strength and experience in summer camp programs was very evident after this year’s popular TPC summer camp.

Juliette Decker Rodenbeck grew up in Belvedere, playing tennis and swimming as a member of the TPC. She graduated from the University of Southern California, with a B.A. in Communications. She is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. Her aspiration is to share this love of fitness and good nutrition with others. Juliette managed The Sports Club LA Spa, and has extensive experience in building and managing successful teams. Juliette and her husband co-founded American Personal Training in L.A in 2003. They decided to re-locate from Southern California to Northern California and make their life here in Marin. Juliette is certified with the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), Pre- and Post-Natal, Spinning and American Red Cross CPR & AED. Juliette is Spinning certified and taught at USC and the Spectrum Club since 2000. She has extensive personal training experience with pre- and post-natal clients and seniors. She utilizes innovative core/stability training, and strength and endurance training to encourage her clients to reach their goals and obtain results. To reach your goals of health and longevity, she believes in making exercise fun and eating healthy a way of life.
Brent Rodenbeck

Brent Rodenbeck’s passion for fitness started in college pitching for the Ball State Baseball team and earning his BA in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. Brent worked in Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Personal Training in Indiana before moving to California. He has been personal training for fifteen years specializing in elderly, Diabetes, obese, pre-post natal, and Fybromalgia. Brent has trained at the Sports Club LA in Los Angeles for ten years. He is co-founder of American Personal Training with his wife for five years before moving to Marin. He also has been working extensively in sports-specific programs for golf, baseball, racquetball, and cycling. He holds certifications in NASM, ACSM, pre-post natal, breathing/yoga, nautilus strength, flexibility, and Cardiac Care Provider/CPR through Red Cross. Brent believes everyone can reach their maximum potential by staying committed and consistent with a specific workout designed to their needs and goals. The combination of strength, cardiovascular training and flexibility with proper nutrition is the key to a successful fit life.
